Partner Dan McGilloway has over forty years of experience in public accounting. In 1967, Dan joined the audit staff of Arthur Andersen working in the San Francisco and San Jose offices. In 1974, Dan returned to the Monterey Peninsula to join his father and brother in the local practice originally started by his father. Mr. McGilloway’s experiences include taxation, audit, business consultation and litigation in a wide array of industries. He has worked with numerous corporate entities assisting with the valuation of corporate stock for acquisition, merger and sale purposes. Mr. McGilloway also advises clients in the areas of entity formation and the tax consequences of liquidation and has had extensive experience in real estate transactions particularly in the areas of exchanges and foreclosures. Mr. McGilloway has been a guest speaker on the subjects of legislative changes in taxation, fraud, and real estate transactions for local banks as well as the local Board of Realtors.
