Biography Patricia Kaufman brings over 30 years of experience in the accounting profession with experience in auditing, internal controls, accounting and taxation. Mrs. Kaufman has worked on financial and compliance audits of governmental, nonprofit and private companies including community colleges, cities, water districts, redevelopment agencies, joint powers authorities, special districts and numerous private companies. She has conducted audit of federal assistance programs pursuant to OMB Circular A-133 and evaluated the effectiveness and efficiency of internal control structures. Prior to entering public accounting, Mrs. Kaufman has acted as Chief Financial Officer and Controller for various companies. Currently providing audits, reviews and accounting services to the following industries: governmental, nonprofit, agricultural, construction, real estate, and service organizations. Mrs. Kaufman’s audit approach and philosophy is to work with the client taking into account time constraints, staffing and structure.
Mrs. Kaufman is a director for the California Society of Certified Public Accountants. She coordinates and instructs in-house trainings and has conducted CalCPA Education Foundation seminars on topics such as the New Form 990 Requirements, Governmental Accounting Standards No. 54, the New Fund Balance Reporting Requirements and Changes to OMB Circular A-133, Single Audit Applications, and Program-Specific Audits.
